Clearing lotion

  • Calamine dries the skin and absorbs excess oil. It also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help to relieve irritation and soothe the skin.
  • Salicylic acid (a naturally occurring acid that comes from willow bark) works as a keratolytic agent and encourages the sloughing away of dead skin cells. It penetrates into the pores to clean and exfoliate them, making it effective for reducing both blackheads and whiteheads.
  • Kaolin absorbs excess oil and provides mild exfoliation to draw out impurities.
  • Zinc Oxide helps to soothe redness, decrease the size of breakouts/pimples/cysts – and helps todry out oil production.
  • Colloidal Sulphur prevents bacteria from spreading and helps to unclog blocked pores.
  • Lemon and Juniper Berry decongest pores and clear up bacterial infections.
  • The Natural EssenceTM blend of essential oils stabilises sebaceous secretions and speed uphealing.

APPLICATION

Clearing lotion

Before bed, after cleansing, apply directly onto the pimple using a cotton wool earbud. Do not shake the bottle and apply only the pink sediment on the affected spot. Rinse off in the morning.
This is safe to apply as often and regularly as needed.

Rescue clay mask

Apply twice weekly after cleansing, toning and exfoliating, and after massaging the skin with the soothing and clarifying Skin Life Oil. Apply in a thick layer to the face and neck, and leave to act for 10-15 minutes. You may experience an initial tingling sensation, but this diminishes as the actives are absorbed. Remove any residual mask with warm, wet sponges or a face cloth. Rinse off well and finish by applying the Balancing Toner and your Day Cream.
